Hello and welcome to the Campbell County Fire District #1 website. I’d like to thank you for taking a few minutes to explore our site and become more familiar with our department.
The Campbell County Fire District #1 Fire/EMS Department protects a 45 square mile district in the eastern area of Campbell County, KY serving roughly 5,083 citizens. Fire suppression, rescue, hazardous materials response, and assisting EMS are among the services provided by the department. As a combination department, meaning comprised of both paid members and volunteers, we respond to approximately 275 calls a year. This figure includes both calls within our primary response district as well as providing assistance to neighboring departments.
As Chief of Campbell County Fire District #1 Fire/EMS Department, I find our department as a thriving and evolving department changing and growing to meet the demands of society and technology. As populations increase and new building structures emerge, it is vital that our department train on the latest developments in order to safely respond to incidents of all types with the tax dollars that are generated for fire protection and EMS. This allows us to meet the demands for service and keeping a low rate for the citizen is one of our top priorities.
Maintaining a strong working relationship within or community is key to the success of our organization. In order to accomplish this goal, we need your support and understanding of our operations. I hope that his web site gives you a better idea of who we are and how we operate, thus building a better and stronger relationship between us. If you have any questions for ideas on how we can better serve you, please let us know.
